Mallcomm+ Platform Upgrades – May 2021

We’re continuously improving the Mallcomm+ Platform and we’re extremely excited to share the upgrades coming in May 2021.
Unless specified below, these upgrades to the User’s Experience of the Platform will automatically be applied at no additional cost

New welcome screen

Updated App Welcome Screen

The home screen of the Mallcomm+ App has now been updated with a sleek and modern design. Alongside the clear visual improvement, the user experience is now even more streamlined as both returning app users and new users access the app via the same button.

On the next screen the user is asked to input their email address – at this point the system will recognise whether the user is a returning or new user and ask them to log in or register respectively.

New, Streamlined Verification For New Users

In keeping with creating a seamless user experience, the latest update also sees improvements to the new user verification process. Previously, new users would be sent an email which would then require them to navigate to a verification link in their web browser before returning to the app.

The new, streamlined verification process follows 3 simple steps:
– User enters their details
– An email is instantly received with a unique 6-digit verification code
– User inputs the code into the app to complete verification

New: Increase Engagement With Action Buttons (Paid Feature)

We’re aware of the value of data and the need for property teams to have the flexibility to measure interactions with stakeholders wherever they need. Action buttons achieve this while providing a streamlined user experience.

Action buttons are new to the Mallcomm+ Platform and can be added to standard items, news, special offers and job vacancies.

The following functions can be applied to an action button:
– Add url link to any external site
– ‘Call Now’ Click to dial phone numbers
– RSVP
–  Redeem QR code

Interactive App Home List (Paid Feature)

First introduced to our innovative B2C apps, the Interactive Home List feature enables you to introduce a sleek and visually appealing stream of featured content presented to users when they open the app.

This functionality enables you to showcase key content pieces, such as offers or news, increasing engagement. From the Home List, app users can quickly navigate to, or add your featured content to their favourites.
