Shopcore Partners with Mallcomm to Create Digital Tenant Engagement Modeal Across U.S. Portfolio of Community Retail Assets

24 November 2021 – ShopCore Properties, a leading owner and operator of community centers across the U.S., has selected Mallcomm to deliver a customized digital tenant-engagement platform across its portfolio of retail properties.

ShopCore leases and manages a portfolio of more than 50 best-in-class convenience retail centers, located in high-density submarkets and anchored by leading grocery retailers, services, entertainment and dining, across 15 U.S. states including California, Florida, New York, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

The app-based platform will also enable Chicago, Illinois-based ShopCore to engage directly with more than 1,800 retail tenants across its assets, ranging from national and international retail brands to local businesses, to drive day-to-day collaboration on marketing and asset management initiatives. The software, branded in the app store as “ShopCore Properties,” will house critical information for tenants and allow for streamlined facilities management and local community building.

The platform also provides a streamlined critical communications function which allows information to be disseminated instantly during an incident or change in COVID-19 status, improving operational resilience.

Mallcomm is the leading proptech platform for the retail property sector globally, doubling its footprint in the past six months to span 650 centers comprising more than 400 million sq ft of retail space. Its clients also
include leading property owners Brookfield Properties, Oxford Properties, Mall of America and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield.
