We recently held our International Mallcomm Summit, which saw all team members from around the globe brought together at our UK Head Office for 3 days of brainstorming, collaboration and team-building.
Having all staff in one place also provided the perfect opportunity to host a charity auction, led by our ESG committee. With October marking International Breast Cancer Prevention Month, the chosen charity for this initiative was the Keep A Breast Foundation.
Keep A Breast was established in the US in 2005 and their mission “is to reduce breast cancer risk and its impact globally through art, education, prevention and action.”
The auction was a huge success, with the entire Mallcomm team bidding ferociously against one another, which resulted in a total of over $1,400 being raised for the charity!
All of the auction lots were generously donated by Mallcomm team members, either as goods or offering skills, including:
- Language lessons
- Homemade crafts
- Gratitude session
- Yoga session
- Brewbies festival merchandise, and more!
The lot of the night relied upon a combined donation from all staff and raised over $600 alone! As a result David Fuller-Watts, our Managing Director, will be taking part in a surprise social media trend – watch out for it on our LinkedIn feed in the coming weeks!
