Carolyn Dunbrook-Client Success Manager – New York

Tell us a bit about yourself, your professional history and how you came to be at Mallcomm?

I’m Carolyn! Coming from a background in multi-use development operations and customer experience, I was reached out to by a wonderful recruiter looking to fill the CSM role here at Mallcomm. I’ve been in client facing roles for over 7 years and love working with people!

What made you want to work for Mallcomm? What are you enjoying so far?

What first attracted me to Mallcomm was the software itself and knowing how useful it would have been to have it at the multi-use development I had been with since 2021. I then met with David, and seeing how involved the CEO was with the interview process and overall operations was extremely attractive. I then met with the other CSMs and Melissa, talked about the client portfolios and knew this was the position for me. So far, I’ve loved navigating the various software interfaces & getting familiarised with the clients. We also had a wonderful visit from David and Adam in NYC, that was a blast!

Who or what motivates you?

Helping others is always my motivation. I volunteer for two non-profit organisations here in New York, one focused on disadvantaged youth communities and the other focused on supporting the LGBTQAI+ community of NYC. These organisations and the people I’ve connected with through them are the lights of my life!

Trish Flaherty- Customer Success Manager – New York

What made you want to work for Mallcomm? What are you enjoying so far?

I was amazed by the product itself, especially coming from a retail background. I wish this was available to me back then! Additionally, the positive company culture I was able to see through the interview process really made the decision to work for Mallcomm quite easy. Plus what other company allows you to speak with the CEO in the first round of the interview process?

What is your role? What are you most looking forward to whilst working with Mallcomm?

I am a Customer Success Manager serving the US Market based in our NYC office. I am looking forward to getting out and meeting with the clients to ensure they have the best experience with Mallcomm.

Who or what motivates you?

As cliche as it may sound, providing excellent customer service while building valuable client relationships motivates me. In my previous role, I was able to make connections with clients across the world further strengthening their bond with the brand. Many of these people I never had the chance to meet in person! However, they knew that I was their go to girl with any questions or concerns.

Bobby Paulus- Commercial EVP Americas – New York

Tell us a bit about yourself, your professional history and how you came to be at Mallcomm?

I started my career out in disaster recovery software – providing sales and marketing support. It was also my first introduction to partnerships, as we did much of selling through partners. I later worked for a larger legal services organization, and worked my way up the “ladder”, managing teams within the SaaS and outsourced services business line. I later spearheaded the exploration of a new global business line, which brought me back partnerships and building a business line from the ground up.

Outside of working at Mallcomm, what do you enjoy?

I love spending time with my family – we are campers
(glampers, lets be honest) and boaters. I’m an avid runner
and keep pushing myself in the ultra distances – having
completed a 50k, and signed up for a 50 miler. I love to get
out on the golf course when I can, and played soccer (or
football) up through college – which my 8 year old son is
now taking the reins of.

What made you want to work for Mallcomm? What are you enjoying so far?

I had an immediate connection with David, and the rest of the leadership team. The passion and desire to build, try and iterate, with the focus on growing an overall business, with a solution that really is industry leading. A culture is the most important thing, as it allows you to build and grow things.

Alexander Neil- Senior Front End Engineer – UK

Tell us a bit about yourself, your professional history and how you came to be at Mallcomm?

I’ve been a developer/software engineer for over 10 years and I’ve spent the last 5+ years working in start-ups, where I’ve been able to thrive in fast-paced, innovative settings. My love for technology and a strong desire to understand how “things” work is a real help.

What is your role? What are you most looking forward to whilst working with Mallcomm?

I’m a senior frontend engineer. I’m looking forward to implementing some new features, technologies and processes to make our (and our client’s) lives easier.

Who or what motivates you?

My daughter. Despite being young, she constantly inspires me with her ability to learn and grow. Seeing her pick up new skills and explore her potential serves as a powerful reminder that we all have immense capabilities within us.

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received and what’s the best advice you can give to someone who has just started their career in the proptech industry?

The best advice I’ve ever received is to ask questions. It’s a simple yet powerful principle that has guided me throughout my career. In the ever-evolving proptech industry, curiosity and a thirst for knowledge are essential. By asking questions, we open ourselves up to new perspectives, gain deeper insights, and accelerate our learning process.  Life is all about learning.
