Overview

Derbion is a large indoor shopping centre in Derby, England. It  contains up to 200 shops, a supermarket, a cinema, many eateries, and has three car parks. The total retail floor area of the centre is 1,142,400 sq ft.

Objectives

The client was looking for a digital platform which would streamline everyday tasks, join up the entire retail community and increase tenant engagement, and so Mallcomm was chosen.

Solution

The team at Mallcomm worked closely with the client to ensure the platform would meet all of their needs. As discussions progressed, more modules were added to the platform. Our critical communications module was incorporated into the platform which features two-way messaging, giving Derbion’s personnel and tenants a way to ask for assistance. Selected users have the ability to press a panic button to alert the management team to an emergency whenever and wherever. Our SMS and voice calling, and Mallcomm mail modules were utilised to help improve tenant engagement and communication, ultimately supporting successful tenant retention.

Our surveys, CRM, and sales modules have been included to enable valuable data collection which helps with decision making, and our ticketing and auditing modules are also apart of the platform to help streamline operations. Other modules include offers, store contacts, key contacts and vacancies.
